Hotel Imperial - Turin

Sehr gute Lage, da man die Innenstadt gut erreichen konnte. Die Zimmer sind klein und gemütlich. Das Frühstück besteht viel aus süßem Essen, aber man wird satt.

Die Englishkenntnisse der Mitarbeiter waren sehr dürftig.

Badezimmer groß.

- Tiefgarage eng und klein, ca. 300 Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Der Verwalter nimmt einem den Autoschlüssel ab. - Klimaanlage nicht funktionsfähig - Frühstück nur das Billigste vom Billigen (z.B. weisses Toastbrot, Croissants alt, Kaffe wurde sehr sparsam eingeschenkt, man konnte sich trotz Buffets nicht selbst bedienen) - Lage des Hotels in einem gefährlichen Viertel, nichts für alleinreisende oder Familien mit Kleinkindern.

Wir waren um 11 Uhr zum Einchecken da, konnten aber erst um 11.45 auf die Zimmer.

Günstig, sehr freundliches Personal, die Zimmer sind i.O. sehr gute Lage, ruhig und dennoch nahe am Zentrum.

Die Zimmer und Türen sind schlecht isoliert. In der gleichen Etage hat ein anderes Paar jede Nacht zu Unzeiten (zb. 4 Uhr morgens) ihrer Lust freien Lauf gegeben. Sie haben manchmal Stundenlang gestöhnt. Wir wurden jeweils aufgeweckt und hatten das Vergnügen (fast) teilzuhabeen(wenigstens was den Lärm betraf)

The hotel is very close to the center of Turin. It provided a safe private parking for my motorcycle.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, far superior to what you normally find in this kind of budget hotel. We got a great deal on Booked.net of 49 euros for 2 people including breakfast. If you can get this kind of deal, it's absolutely worth it. Also, it was wonderful to have a parking space right in front of the hotel.

Not the cleanest room I've been in, and the air conditioning didn't work very well. Also, we had asked for a "letto matrimoniale" as opposed to a "camere doppio" of 2 beds pushed together, but we still got the 2 beds pushed together, which is not ideal. The WiFi didn't work well, and the hotel was much further from the centre than we expected, based on reviews we had read.

The breakfast was ok, given the amount of money we paid in the hotel in the first place. We did not expect it to be better. Opposite the hotel, there is a carrefour express; which was convenient as the hotel was far from everything else so we managed to buy whatever food or drinks we needed and did not have trouble carrying the bags to the hotel.

I hated the hotel! It was terrible! The hotel staff was very rude to us. They refused to do room service saying that the room was untidy and they will only clean it when we leave!! They have not even cared to change the towels!!!.They barely spoke English and we had an extremely hard time communicating. The hotel is far from the metro station, unlike what is stated in its description. It is a very long walk away from the metro station especially when it is raining. The rooms were very small. The beds were very uncomfortable. The bathroom did not have any kind of ventilation whatsoever. There was no minibar in the room. Overall, it was a disaster.

The Imperial is a clean, well managed family hotel. Rooms are well appointed and the breakfast in the back garden is a treat. It isn't however, as the Booked.net description states 'a short walk from Porta Susa Station'. I would recommend catching the 59 or 29 bus from outside the station and getting off along the Via San Donata, near Via Bogetto, especially if you've got heavy luggage.

The Staff were helpful and courteous, friendly Family run Hotel Located about 1km from the centre. Would happily stay again when I return to Turin.

The staff were friendly and accomodating , the hotel was clean and tidy. Private parking was nearby (at extra cost). The bus and tram routes were within a few minuites walk.

our stay there was perfect.a clean room.good breakfast ,friendly staff.a lovely garden . made our stay there very welcome .for sure we will be going there again when Torino is our destination for a holiday
